Chateau Lousteauneuf Medoc

Chateau Lousteauneuf was acquired by Danielle and Serge Segond in 1962, but a movement into making their own wine didn’t happen until 1993, by Bruno Segond. He steered the wines with a very Medoc sensibility, making this Chateau a highly distinctive ‘Cru Bourgeois’. This is a prestigious and historic classification for red wines, from the Medoc region of Bordeaux, that was formally introduced in the 1930s. This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Thanks to its sold structure, you’ll taste a mix of blackberry, cassis, dark cherry and green olive, with a hint of sweet spices and herbs. Drink now or hold for another 4 to 6 years.
