Chateau Lamothe-Bergeron is a historic Medoc wine estate, with roots dating back to the 15th century. Recognized as a leading ‘Cru Bourgeois Superieur’ since the 19th century, this status was reconfirmed in 2020. To achieve this accolade, the last 5 vintages from the Chateau have been blind tasted by a panel of judges. If they deem every vintage to be a great example of Haut-Medoc, then the designation of ‘Cru Bourgeois Superieur’ can appear on the label. This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. It offers a beautiful complexity of red and black fruits, with a good amount structure and roundness.
