Chateau La Loubiere

A few kilometers from the city of Bordeaux, on the hillsides north of the Entre-Deux-Mers wine region, the Teycheney family have been cultivating the vines at Chateau La Loubiere since 1837. Today, the team consists of Nicolas Gere who worked at Jean-Louis Chave, as well as Jean-Claude and Jean-Francois Berrouet. Jean-Claude was famously the Maitre de chai (master of the cellar) at Petrus for over 40 vintages and his son is now doing the job at Petrus. This is precisely what you'd want out of a ripe and plumpy Merlot based Bordeaux.
