Chateau La Haye is part of a long wine tradition dating back to 1557, when Sire Janot Bernard of Leyssac acquired the property and planted the first vines. The Chateau is one of the oldest in Saint-Estephe and has remained within the same family for 370 years. But in 2012, this property was purchased by Chris Cardon, who developed a crush for this place when he ran the Medoc marathon. He felt it was an amazing estate with great potential, that needed a revival. He studied every plot of the land and invested in new barrels, while bringing the Chateau back to life. This velvety smooth beast, is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. It offers a harmonious blend of cassis, juicy raspberries, juniper berries, blackcurrant and dusty earth with a hint of brewed coffee and baking spices. Drink between: 2022-2032
