Castello di Verduno Barbera D'Alba

The Castello di Verduno is a beautiful old building at the top of the village of Verduno. Built in 1500, it is one of the historic castles within Piedmont. Today, the winery is owned and run by Gabriella Burlotto and her husband, Franco Bianco. On a daily basis, the locals are more known for enjoying a glass of delicious wine made from the Barbera grape. It’s fresh and luscious loaded with blue and black fruit with a hint of violets, funk and bruised raisins.
