Caparzo Rosso di Montalcino

Caparzo is one of the original 13 wineries in Montalcino. The first plantings of Sangiovese were planted in 1968 and the current proprietor, Elisabetta Gnudi Angelini, purchased the property in 1998. Today, the holdings are spread over 240 hectares. This Rosso di Montalcino is full of intensity, that’s extremely polished and always consistent every vintage. You’ll taste a fusion of baked mediterranean herbs and scented purple flowers with black plum, dried cherry, blackberry and licorice.
