If you crave a lavish and intense Pinot Noir, Burn Cottage’s Sauvage Vineyard will certainly carry you into a world of satisfaction. The Pinot Noir grapes for this wine, are sourced from vines aging an average of 19 years old. The vineyard itself is located on a collection of rolling hills, once prized for gold and is now cloaked in a mix of wild thyme and rosehip amongst the vines. On top of that, this blissful wine would satisfy several Burgundian wine lovers with extremely high praise. It’s precise and perfumed with lovely aromatics of maraschino cherry, raspberry puree, violets and spiced licorice with hints of savoury bramble. While drinkable now, it will undoubtedly age for another decade.
