Melissa Mills and Doug Tunnell had spent years working as broadcast journalists. From this experience, they shared a professional history, but they also shared a deep appreciation for Mother Nature, having grown up hiking and camping in Oregon’s forests and river valleys. An intuitive understanding of nature’s awesome complexity led them to farming and winemaking in May of 1990, when Brick House Wines was established. This Pinot Noir is both elegant and concentrated with a balance of black cherry, purple plum, blueberry yogourt and wild strawberry with a hint of savoury baking spices and tea leaf.
