Arran Sauternes Cask Finish

This sweeter version of Arran makes an ideal dessert dram, with complementary notes of apricots, melon, pineapple, honeysuckle and ginger. To achieve this rich partnership, this Single Malt is matured in oak casks for approximately 8 years and then finished in a selection of Sauternes wine casks. Sauternes is one of the most famous sweet wines in the world, from the infamous wine region of Bordeaux in France. These Bordeaux sweet white wine casks were specifically selected by Arran's Master Distiller, from a talented small producer, to ensure the notes from both the wine and the whisky make the perfect marriage.
