Arpepe Rosso Di Valtellina

Valtellina, an alpine valley in the far north of Lombardy, has been producing wine for over 2000 years. Arpepe is owned by a family of winegrowers for over 150 years now and have been passionately devoted to the cultivation of ‘Nebbiolo from the Alps’. Time and humility are what make their wine the purest expression of this area and of the people who nurture it with such dedication. This wine has a juicy punch of tannins in its youth but softens with a little exposure to air. It also offers a mix of wild herbs, cherries, raspberries, balsamic, sweet violets and rugged spice.
