Alipus San Andres Mezcal Joven

Alipus San Andres is made by the renowned mezcalero Don Valente Angel. The land around Don Valente’s property is a high rolling plateau at about 5000 feet. The soil is mostly shale, which is not typically good for growing vegetation of any kind, but some Agave can certainly flourish. This creamy Mezcal is made from a blend of Agave (Maguey) Espadin and Bicuishe. It’s smoky and earthy with lots of black pepper and sweet fruit.
