Thenard Givry 1er Cru 'Les Bois Cheveaux'

The Thenard family has owned land in Givry since 1760. The village of Givry has enjoyed a long reputation for making great wine, just virtually unknown outside of France. Paul Thenard took over his wife’s estate and founded Domaine Thenard at the end of the 19th century. This wine is concentrated and elegant with a balance of pure red fruit and a hint of herbal spice with a savoury, sensual finish. Drinking now but could age for another 3 to 4 years.
