Sardus Pater Carignano Rosato 'Horus'

Just as you cross the bridge from Sardinia, you’ll find Cantine Sardus Pater.  The winery was founded in 1949, and up until 1994, only produced Carignano (known as Carignan in France). They now produce a small assortment of other classic Sardinian wines including this Rosato, made from 100% Carignano. It carries a mix of dried cranberry, zingy raspberry and cherry with a hint of candied red currants.
