Pardon & Fils Brouilly 'Beaujolais Cru'

This is another fine example from Pardon & Fils, proving they have reversed the trend of ‘poor man’s Burgundy’. This example stems from one of the 10 Crus of Beaujolais, known as Brouilly. Made from 100% Gamay, it carries delicate fresh flowers and scorched earth on the nose. On the palate, the wine reveals tart cherry, spicy dark raspberry, purple current and cranberry that cavort on a polished, juicy finish with a little backbone to boot!
