Meurgey-Croses Vire-Clesse Blanc

Availability: In stock (2)

Born in 1959 at the Hospices de Beaune, Pierre Meurgey comes from a long line of wine estate managers, oenologists and Burgundian wine brokers. After buying some property in 1990, he founded a trading activity under his name for Côte d'Or wines and launched the Meurgey-Croses brand for white wines in 2014. This beauty stems from the Maconnais, between the communes of Vire and Clesse. The wine is mainly fermented and aged in tanks, with 20% large oak barrels. The nose is typical Chardonnay, with intonations of fresh butter, sweet almond, pear and crisp apple with a hint of fresh flowers and toast.
