Marolo Grappa di Barolo 15 year

Located in the heart of the Barolo zone in the town of Alba, Marolo is one of Italy’s most highly regarded distilleries specializing in grape distillate or grappa. The distillery was founded in 1977 by Paolo Marolo’s experimentation and encouraging results in distillation of grape pomace and whole grapes. This delightful gem is made from 100% Nebbiolo and aged in oak for 15 years, giving a beautiful copper coloured finish. It’s wonderfully rich and smooth showcasing a mix of red fruits, dark chocolate, clove, pepper and licorice with a hint of nutmeg and anise.
