Manoir Du Carra Bourgogne Pinot Noir

The Sambardiers are 5th-generation wine growers, operating in Southern Burgundy. They’ve stewarded the land with extreme care since 1918 and bought the estate in 1962. This offering is not only delicious but it also gets to say ‘Pinot Noir’ on the label and not get in trouble! It’s wonderfully herbaceous and savoury on the nose, that needs a little backing off at first, to help expose and open an energetic blast of purple and red fruits.
