Lochlea 'Fallow Edition' Sherry Cask

Relatively new to the Scotch scene is Lochlea Distillery, in Scotland’s Lowlands. But the farm is rooted in Scottish history, as Robert Burns called Lochlea his home throughout his formative years. By day, Burns worked hard on the farm and in the evening, he enjoyed the company of his friends, debating at the Bachelors Club in nearby Tarbolton. The ground here has inspired the honest, passionate and progressive nature of Lochlea whisky. Fallow Edition ‘First Crop’ was released in November 2022 and is the third release in this seasonal series. It was also aged in ex-sherry casks showcasing a mix of chewy raisins, plums, dried orange, dried cranberry and a hint of toasted oak. Limited edition of 9,000 bottles.
