La Comarcal (‘The District’) is a small project set up by Javi Revert and Victor Marqués in 2017. The winery is located in the mountainous village of Venta del Moro, in Valencia. This crisp white is a blend of Merseguera and Chardonnay. Both grapes are fermented and briefly aged in a mixture of concrete tanks for the Merseguera and large oak barrels for the Chardonnay. The end result is a fresh and exotic white, offering a mix of citrus, apple, pear and white flowers with a pristine minerality.
