Edradour 11 Year Old Sauternes Cask

Dating back to 1825, Edradour is world renowned as Scotland’s Little Gem and probably the most unique. However, the demand for Edradour whisky has outweighed supply and being small has proven to be a burden over the years. For this reason, Andrew Symington took the decision to increase capacity. This new offering to the store was aged for 11 years and matured in sauternes casks. Sauternes is certainly one of the most important wine regions in the world for sweet dessert wine. It offers a very unique finish to the whisky, mixing sweet orange, apricot, honeycomb, ginger and shortbread.
