Domaine de la Denante Macon-Davaye Rouge

Macon-Davaye wines are those produced under the Macon appellation in southern Burgundy. Wines from this area are considered the soul of southern Burgundy. At Domaine de la Denante, Robert Martin and his son Damien are producing some wonderful wines from their own tiny parcel of land. This wine in particular is made from 100% Gamay. It’s perfumed and full of life, highlighting raspberry, plum and prune with notes of underbrush and spicy pepper.
