Chateau Rouget Pomerol

At the end of the 19th century, a classification of Pomerol wines placed Chateau Rouget among the top five estates of the appellation. This recognition stems from the remarkable constancy showed by consecutive owners of the estate, to produce iconic wines within the famed region of Bordeaux. In 1992, the Labruyère Family fell in love with this estate and have continued to carry on this legacy. The 2018 vintage is a classic blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. It’s extremely refined and savoury offering notes of blueberry, blackberry, elderberry, dark cherry and violets with a hint of mushroom and peppered toast. Drink between: 2023-2039
